Artist Overview
A visual artist and sculptor holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Interior Design (2007).
Recipient of the State of Kuwait Award for Creativity in Fine and Applied Arts (Sculpture), 2025.
He specializes in traditional hand sculpting and digital sculpture, blending classical techniques with contemporary tools. His artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by his father’s work in Arabic calligraphy and fine arts, and expanded across multiple disciplines before focusing on sculpture.
02
Creative Practice
“Follow your heart” was the advice he received from his uncle, architect and artist Fareed Abdul, leading him fully into the world of sculpture.
He believes that true art is born from love, sincerity, and human presence. Since 2002, he has participated in exhibitions and symposiums inside and outside Kuwait, with a practice centered on form, balance, and emotional depth.
03
Process & Teaching
Between 2016 and 2023, he led 15 group workshops and 6 private workshops, teaching sculpture fundamentals, anatomy, and portrait sculpting to over 100 trainees from Kuwait and abroad.
His process combines traditional clay sculpting and silicone mold-making with digital sculpting in ZBrush and high-quality 3D printing, using the same professional molding and casting methods across both approaches.
